American Idol

I am not ashamed to admit that I'm a huge fan of American Idol. We were watching the show last night and Jack was being extra happy so we decided to snap a few photos. I have no doubt he was so happy because American Idol is his favorite show too! Actually, I wouldn't be surprised. Jack loves to "sing" whenever he hears music. He does it in church, in the car, at home...anywhere he might hear music. It's adorable.

We often go walking

He are some shots of Jack getting ready to go for a walk with me. We often go walking on Sunday mornings and this Sunday morning (Mother's day) was a tad chilly. Hence the sheepskin jacket and beanie. Go COUGS!!

Hairy Legs

Mike, Jackson and I were all hanging out the other night and while Jackson was rolling around he came across Mike's legs. Much to his delight, Mike's legs are hairy and for some gross reason Jack liked it! He would put his tongue on Mike's leg and then look up and smile. Jack thought it was so cool...Mike was doing all he could not to laugh because it tickled. Oh, and pay no attention to the slight nastiness on Jack's bib. He had just finished eating some dinner before he started on the dessert of hairy legs.

Yummy yummy food!!

This picture is the perfect indicator of how much Jack loves to eat. It's the best...he will sit there with is little mouth gaping open while he waits for the next bite of food to be inserted. Mike and I usually feed him some food while we are eating dinner and it is always entertaining.

Try as I might inevitably Jack ends up with food all over his face/clothes, etc. So, we've now made it a practice to remove all clothing but the diaper, and throw a bib on (this one is courtesy of Great Grandma Bell).

Some more of Jack

Jack was being cooperative so I kept snapping away. I was trying to get some pictures where his eyes aren't red! This is probably just my ignorance, but no matter what I do (turn the 'red eye reducer on', etc.) we always seem to have red eyes. I think these ones turned out okay. Finally.

So Behind...

Well, without the internet at home I'm afraid I get very far behind on my blogging. It's a bummer, but I'm going to try to be better at keeping our blog up-to-date (mostly to avoid the snide remarks of a dear friend...).

Here are some pictures of Jack...of course. His new thing is to flap his arms and kick his legs when he gets excited about something. It's adorable, but unfortunately quite difficult to capture in a picture. So, just imagine if you will, Jack's little arms and legs flailing about in these pictures.
