Have You Heard Of This?

This is my new favorite thing. It's called pandora.com and you can go there and create a free radio station to listen to on your computer. Here's why I like it: a) you can pick and choose the artists, or songs you want to hear b) if you don't like a song or artist they play, you just click the thumbs down icon and they won't play it anymore, c) there are NO commercials, and d) even the SLOWEST computer on the planet (that would be my computer) can play the music with no hiccups while the music is loading.

Lately I've just been turning the computer on and listening to all of my favorite songs and artists while getting stuff done around the house. I LOVE this!

Spring Has Sprung!

It's about time...Look at this weather report (just ignore the one little snowflake on Tuesday).

It has been a long, cold, snowy...did I mention cold?...winter and the thought of 65 degrees and sunshine is just about enough to make this girl the happiest girl on the planet! I mean seriously, just to be able to walk outside with a light jacket on and not freeze to death, now that's what I'm taklin' about. Let's not even mention the feeling of sunshine hitting my face and warming up my entire body instantly...heaven on earth I tell ya. Oh, and maybe now my hands and face can recover from the blistering cold , dry and windy conditions that have turned my skin into something that resembles an alligator.

Since being here in Utah Mike and I have realized that we are not designed for cold weather. We need to be able to wake board, play football, walk, run, ride our bikes, camp, and just be outside the majority of any given year. Which kind of limits the number of places we could potentially end up. Let's just say Texas is sounding really nice right about now. But for the next 5 years I will have to enjoy this time of year, when the earth dethaws and the sun comes out. It makes me so happy, there aren't even words to express how I feel.

Who Knew?

Seriously...who knew that I would be a fan of Hannah Montana/Miley Cyrus? I think this song is so fun. Am I crazy?

Uncle Co-Co

As Jack is becoming more and more talkative we basically try to see if we can get him to say any word we throw at him. Some of my favorites are "avocado" and "calculator." No...he can't actually say them correctly, but he tries and it's hilarious.

We frequently quiz Jack on his Aunts and Uncles names. Again, he can't say many of them correctly, but at least he's trying, right? One of our favorites is how he says Cody's name: Jacks says "Co-Co." Except the second "Co" is about an octave higher than the first "Co." Cracks us up every time.

As a matter of fact, Mike and I like it so much we've started calling him "Co-Co" as well. I know it's bad, but it sounds a bit like a stripper name or something.

Seriously, Cody is such a great uncle. He is always reading with Jack, or teaching him how to throw the football. Cody even takes him on "adventures" when we are at the BYU basketball games just to keep Jack entertained. We love you Uncle Co-Co!

I Think It's A Vicious Cycle

I think my life works in some kind of cycle. We are at the "boring" part of the cycle. I guess I can't say boring, but we are at the "non-blog worthy" part of the cycle. There is simply nothing happening that I feel justifies posting on our blog. Not to mention, our computer is ancient and it's a major time (and patience) commitment to get on and view all of the blogs I MUST read.

Jack is usually the center of the blog, but he's been sick the last 3 days. Oh...how I miss my healthy baby. Actually, I think he turned the corner this evening and we caught a glimpse of our happy, goofy baby again tonight. I loved it. Mike is busy with school, so there's nothing to post about there. And, I have been attending some more aerobic certifications the last two days. Cool stuff, but I won't bore you with all of the details.

Anyway, my point is that I imagine I'll enter back into the "blog worthy" portion of my life sometime shortly. But in the meantime, you'll just have to look at a picture of Jack. Hopefully he's back to being this happy tomorrow.
