Sewing Projects

I've wished for years that I wouldn't have been such a stubborn teenager and actually learned how to sew when my Mother tried to teach me so many years ago. I regret it terribly and am trying to redeem myself.

So, here are a few projects I've been working on. I did the blanket mostly by myself, but had some awesome guidance and help from my Mother last spring. Mike's Mom helped me tremendously with the new crib bedding while she was here last weekend. I still need to sew the ties on, and I'm going to make another quilt out of the scraps leftover from the bumpers and mattress cover.

Thank you to my amazing Mothers for teaching me how to be domestic. Oh, and did I mention we're having a baby (hence the new baby crib bedding)? Just over 19 weeks down...roughly half way done! And no, we don't know what we're having and we won't find out. I like surprises.

The bedding is super cute. I wish I could figure out a way to get that toddler bed to you.
